Linsey Griffith

Midwife

CPM, LM, CD (DONA), CLC, LCCE, HBCE, SBCPE, AHACI

Linsey is a Certified Professional Midwife, a Licensed Midwife, and a birth worker for over 18 years. She is passionate about informed consent, shared decision making, and collaborative care. Linsey took the long road to home birth midwifery, after many years of supporting birth in hospitals as a Doula. She believes strongly that birthing folks deserve respectful care and better birthing options. While there is no right or wrong way to give birth, there is definitely the birth that is right for each family. Supporting women on their journey to Motherhood is primary reason she came to birth work. Linsey has a BA in Communication and Master’s Studies in Rural Sociology. She is a Certified Lactation Counselor, A Spinning Babies Certified Parent Educator, an American Heart Association Certified Instructor, a HypnoBirthing Certified Childbirth Educator, and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator.

Linsey is the mother of 2, a teen girl and teen boy. She has been married to Ken for 22 years. They reside in Delaware, OH with their 2 Alaskan Klee Kai, a mutt, and a bearded dragon. Linsey is dedicated to public service and serves on Delaware City Council. She loves the arts and regularly goes to concerts, musicals, the theater, comedians, art shows and festivals. An avid reader, she read 250 books in 2025.

Dominique Hazleton

Birth Assistant

Dominique is a Birth Assistant, and a birth doula, training completed through Sista Midwife Productions. She attended Wright State University and obtained a B.S. in Biological Sciences, before pursuing a career in birth work.

Her calling to birth work was inspired by the push to support the rise in Black Maternal Health using naturopathic methods. She aspires to help her community and lend a helping hand in closing the gap in disparities by providing a loving and supportive birth experience. Though she has no children yet, she’s an aunt of 3 nieces and 3 nephews and just welcomed a puppy, Winston Pierre.

She enjoys the calmness of crocheting and meditation as well as the excitement of learning new dance and Zumba routines.

Deb McCann

Future Midwife

Deb McCann knew birth work was her passion when her roommate/best friend asked her to be at the birth of her first child in 2004.  Shortly after that birth she married her husband, became pregnant with her first son in 2005 and completed her family with her fourth boy, born at home, in 2014.  Deb has been teaching The Bradley Method classes since 2012 and trained in placenta encapsulation in 2016.  In 2012 Deb was also a surrogate for her niece Kya. Along with being a birth doula, bereavement doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, monitrice and birth educator, Deb is now a student midwife.  She will begin taking on a primary roll in 2026 and hopefully sit the NARM exam in 2027.

When Deb isn’t doing birth work, she enjoys spending time on their farm taking care of all of the goats, pigs, rabbits, ducks, chickens, dogs and cats.  She also loves gardening, canning, hunting, fishing, camping and watching her four boys ride their dirt bikes.  Along with showing in 4H, playing travel baseball, football and the family favorite, wrestling.  If you ever find her taking a vacation it is either on a cruise ship with her girlfriends, in the UP of Michigan with her family or in Kentucky traveling the bourbon trails collecting bottles along the way.  Deb knows what a sacred space she is coming in to when supporting our clients.  Her goal is to be your tour guide through this process, however you decide to birth, so everyone comes out on the other side empowered knowing they had the best birth experience they could have had.
